My Individual Synopsis
Thriller Sub Genre - Psychological Thriller
Intended Target Audience 16-45
The Smiley Hotel. A hotel on the outside, nobody knows about
the inside. A hotel based on the outskirts of a town attracts travelers in but
when they come out they are changed, not physically but mentally, the only
physical change is the inability to speak about what the hotel was like, no reviews, just a large smile instead as a substitute for a reply when asked,
then nothing, just hushed silences. The main receptionist in the hotel is
actually the only person who isn’t smiling, nobody knows why, her name tag is
blank and her fingertips have scuffed burnt marks on them, she is a living
phantom.
Scenario Two - Lauren Sharp
Thriller Sub Genre - Action Thriller
Intended Target Audience 16-45
An officer turns up to a crime scene in a hotel where everyone has been evacuated. The officer finds the room that has been reported and quickly looks at everything that has been left in the room. There is blood everywhere with furniture overturned. Another senior officer turns up outside the room. He has made an attempt to try and frame this officer for whichever crime has been committed in the room. The officer being framed quickly realizes this and manages to get away from the scene and the senior officer. An interview process is shown where the senior officer is being asked to tell the investigating team what he discovered and who was there. The framed officer is shown following the senior one who becomes paranoid. The framed officer asks for help from old friends who he was in the military with some years ago.
Scenario Three - Kiah Bennett
Thriller Sub Genre - Horror Thriller
Intended Target Audience 16-45
A small chapel in the middle of nowhere, a small wedding was taking place between a man and a woman, only a small amount watching. A man walks in with a gun and a bottle of whiskey in the other hand, pulls up the gun aiming at the husband and pulls the trigger. He then runs out of the chapel, leaving the poor woman at the chapel with her husband bleeding out. She realizes that it was her ex and hunts him down. Traps him in an ally and shots him then shots herself.
Since then she haunts the ally. Two guys come down the alley hearing the story of the creepy widow that haunts it so they fought they should play the Ouija board believing that it wouldn’t work. During asking the woman question through the board they here the song ‘Going to the chapel and were going to get married’. Then all of a sudden one of the boys gets dragged in to the dark shadows of the ally and the other runs away.
Scenario Four - Elliott Webb
Thriller Sub Genre - Psychological Thriller
Intended Target Audience 16-45
The main protagonist see's an add for test subjects wanted on a computer. The participants would get paid well so the protagonist goes along with it. A group of people have been brought into a government building for psychological testing. They are getting paid for it and only a chosen few win and go onto further testing. Everything is going well until the testing begins and things take a turn for the worst. The experiments are worse than what they first thought when they get locked in, trapped with no way out. They have to try and survive and not let the tests make them crazy.

The main protagonist sees an advert for an opportunity to be a part of an experiment, to be a test subject wanted on a computer. All of the participants who willingly put themselves forward to take part would get paid a lot of money. This is what grabs the main protagonist's attention as he decides to go along with it. A group of participants are escorted into a government building for the first part of the process for the psychological testing. They have all had a short explanation as to how it will plan out and only a chosen few succeed through the first part and go onto the further testing. Everything is going well until the further testing begins and things take a turn for the worst. The participants have been lied to and they realise the experiments are worse than what they first thought when they get locked in. They become trapped with no way out of the room they have been locked in. They have to try and survive and not let the tests or each other make them crazy.
